Charity Concert

The charity concert is open to everyone. The funds collected from sold tickets will be used to provide psychological assistance to Ukrainian residents who have suffered from the war and are dealing with panic attacks, psychological trauma, suicidal thoughts and depression.

On May 19th a well-known pianist of international level Alexey Botvinov from Odesa together with New Ideas Chamber Orchestra (NIKO) will perform in Vilnius Town Hall.

One of Ukraine’s most prominent pianists has performed in more than 45 countries. Also, he has won the C. Schumann and J. S. Bach competitions in Germany and the S. Rachmaninov competition in Moscow. In Vilnius, he will perform the compositions of J.S. Bach and Philip Glass.

New Ideas Chamber Orchestra (NIKO) is a string instrument ensemble founded by Lithuanian composer Gediminas Gelgotas in 2006. NIKO performs contemporary minimalist music that combines classical and popular styles. The orchestra uses non-traditional techniques of string instruments and singing. The unique element of their performances is integration of minimalist choreography, visualizations and design.
