Lina Ruksteliene is Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania,
responsible for transatlantic cooperation and security policy. Prior to her current position,
she served as Lithuania’s Ambassador to Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia and Liechtenstein,
and held several senior positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
A career diplomat, she has extensive experience in European affairs, international security
and transatlantic relations, including assignments at Lithuania’s Permanent Missions to
international organizations in Vienna and to the Organization for Security and Co-operation
in Europe (OSCE). She studied at Vilnius University and the George C. Marshall Center
for Security Studies.
