Audra Plepyte is a Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Until July
2026, she served as a Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs. Previously, she served as
Lithuania’s Ambassador to the United States (2021-2025) and to Spain (2008-2014), as
well as Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the United Nations (2017-2021). During
her diplomatic career spanning more than 30 years, she has held various senior positions
within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and served in diplomatic postings in
Brussels, New York, and other locations.
Ms. PlepytÄ— holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy and a Diploma in International
Relations from Vilnius University, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Diplomatic Studies
from the University of Oxford.
