Eugene Sadler-Smith is Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Surrey Business School, University of Surrey, UK. He has a first degree from the University of Leeds and a PhD from the University of Birmingham. His research interests are intuition in decision making and hubris in leadership. He has published extensively on both topics and his recent books include Intuition in Business (Oxford University Press), Trust Your Gut (Pearson), Hubristic Leadership (Sage) and The Hubris Hazard, and Hoa to Avoid It (Routledge). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Science (FAcSS).  Prior to becoming an academic he worked in industry for the best part of ten years.
