Bradley Reynolds is a senior researcher at the University of Turku on the Academy of Finland project "Between engagement and disillusion. Finland in the CSCE/OSCE, 1975-1994" (PI Louis Clerc). He works at the intersection of research, policy, and civic engagement. He has published political analysis for the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, the Wilson Center’s Kennan Institute, Security and Human Rights Monitor, Riddle, and Finland’s leading daily newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat. His academic work has been published in leading international forums such as European Security, Cold War History, Cooperation and Conflict, The Oral History Review, and H-Diplo/Robert Jervis International Security Studies Forum. As a member of Finnish civil society, Reynolds is a board member of the Finnish Oral History Network as well as Historians without Borders in Finland, recently leading the "OSCE by All" project in support of the Finnish 2025 OSCE Chairpersonship. Bradley holds a BA in History and Sociology from Bates College, Lewiston, Maine, U.S.A., a MSSc in Political History and Russian Studies from the University of Helsinki, and a Doctorate of Social Science from the University of Helsinki.
