
Major Dr. Haakon G. Engen is an officer with the Institute of Military Psychiatry inthe Norwegian Armed Forces Joint Medical Services. He is an operational and clinical psychologist, in addition to being analumnus of the Max Planck Society and the University of Cambridge where he trained to become an accomplished cognitive and affective neuroscientist. He specializes in understanding and enhancing thep sychological and neural mechanisms supporting successful self-regulation and resilience.He is the program director for Operational Resilience Training and has extensive experience training NATO and AFU personnel the mental skills they need to take care of them selves and their fellow soldiers under the strain of combat.
