Michael Cotey Morgan is associate professor of history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and author of The Final Act: The Helsinki Accords and the Transformation of the Cold War (Princeton, 2018). He holds degrees from the University of Toronto, Cambridge, and Yale. Before coming to UNC,he taught at theUS Naval War College and the University of Toronto, and held a research fellowship at Sciences Po, Paris.
